1950s      K2O/Fe2O3 Catalyst Systems were developed
1995        SM catalyst ‘central’ research was terminated, Isothermal SM process development discontinued
1998        Catalyst research moved to catalyst business unit
2000        S6-32 on stream at Elenac (former ROW)
2002        S6-34 on stream at BASF Antwerp,  S6-38 & S6-36 on stream at Dwory & BASF Ulsan
2005        SMART Package (S6-38 S3, O0-18) at TPC, Iran
