CP Alumina Powders

BASF CP alumina powders have proven value and performance in many catalyst and specialty product formulations. They are used in formulating spray-dried products, alumina shperes and extrusions. Controlled rehydration of the powders can be used to impact desirable surface area and pore-size distributions in final products.

For example, in fluid catalytic cracking catalysts (FCC), BASF CP alumina powders contribute bottoms cracking, coke selectivity, and thermal stability formulations. BASF CP alumina powders are rehydratable, forming a strong hydroxyl bond on contact with water.
