BASF Catalysts offers a complete overhaul and repair service for the flap tracks on DHC-8 aircraft. The service is performed in compliance with the requirements of the aircraft's manufacturer, Bombardier. In fact, we are an approved source to perform the complete overhaul of the DHC-8 flap tracks per Bombardier Repair Document RD8-57-1169.

As part of the overhaul, BASF Catalysts enhances the flap track roller surface by applying a high velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF) tungsten carbide coating. This service is backed by our decades of worldwide experience in advanced thermal spray coatings and repairs for aircraft -structure and power-plant components.

  • DHC-8 Series 100 Models 102, 103, 106
  • DHC-8 Series 200 Models 201,202
