Temperature Sensing

From molten glass, to semiconductor, to rocket exhaust measurements, BASF Catalysts temperature-sensing products meet diverse and demanding applications. For more than a century, BASF Catalysts has supplied a wide range of industries, including electronics, semiconductor, aerospace, glass, plastics and rubber, with exceptionally high quality temperature-sensing products to meet the demanding applications of our customers.

Our products include contact thermocouples and optical thermometers. Our thermocouples include profile and spike thermocouples, industrial thermocouples, and high-temperature thermocouple wire and cable. We also produce epitaxial thermocouples. Our extremely wide range of products includes many that can be custom-tailored to specific customer applications.

BASF Catalysts supplies precious metal thermocouples using R, S, B, PII, C and K-type wires. Platinel is proprietary to BASF Catalysts. We produce profile thermocouples with 0.020-inchwire that delivers a longer lifespan. And, we offer a scrap metal return program whereby old thermocouples are returned for future orders or cash.

We maintain a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Fremont, California. Extraordinary care is taken to ensure every instrument is manufactured with the highest degree of quality. Instruments are tested and calibrated against exacting standards before they leave our ISO 9001:2000 certified facility.

In addition, BASF Catalysts maintains a world-class research and development and calibration laboratory in Portland, Oregon, dedicated exclusively to optical thermometry. Highly experienced staff scientists work to ensure that exacting standards are maintained, in addition to supporting and developing new breakthrough products.

We are committed to providing innovative designs, exceptional quality, rapid deliveries and competitive pricing.
