BASF’s Catalysts division, headquartered in Iselin, New Jersey, USA, is a global division of BASF SE, Ludwigshafen, Germany, and is the world’s leading supplier of environmental and process catalysts. The division employs more than 8,000, with over 30 manufacturing sites worldwide. BASF's Catalysts division is the global market leader in catalysis.

In December 2021, BASF announced the carve-out of the mobile emissions catalysts, precious metals trading, recycling, and related products, and services business into a to-be created standalone organization named BASF Automotive Catalysts and Recycling (ACR). This name has now been changed into BASF Environmental Catalyst and Metal Solutions (ECMS). The carve-out is intended to be completed by July 2023. Once completely standalone, ECMS will remain part of BASF Group.
